Anushka Sharma's role in Yash chopra's swan song Jab Tak Hai Jaan
have now been revealed. Revealing her character during recent release Anushka announced, "Hi. I
am Akira. I work for the Discovery Channel. And I am on a quest to
discover the truth behind the compelling story of The Man Who Cannot Die."
Anushka, who co-stars for the second time with
Shah Rukh Khan, plays a journalist with the Discovery Channel producing a
documentary on the character played by SRK.

Jab tak hai Jaan Samar - an army officer
played by Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma as Akira the
documentary-within-a-film which is called The Man Who Cannot Die.
Anushka first co-starred with Shah Rukh Khan in Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi, her debut film. The movie was produced by Yash Raj Film as was her next few movies Badmaash Company, Band Baaja baraat and Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl. Anushka will be next seen in Vishal Bhardwaj's Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola.
Jab Tak Hain Jaan, Yash Chopra's 22nd film, will release on November 13.
